The Ache We All Feel

There’s an ache many of us carry. Subtle. Persistent. Hard to put into words. A quiet hunger.

A sense that something essential is missing, even when life looks full. As though we’ve built a life on top of life itself, and forgotten something vital along the way.

We’ve been taught to think of nature as something outside of us. Somewhere we visit. Somewhere we go to feel grounded. And yet we are nature. Made of the same breath, water, rhythm, and matter as everything that lives.

We’ve inherited ways of living that keep us busy and productive, slowly severing us from the rhythms of the Earth, the great Mother that once held us. So we grasp. And we reach.

When we live inside this separation, it’s no wonder so many of us feel slightly out of place. In our bodies. In our lives. On the Earth itself. Longing. Yearning. For something the soul and body remember, deep.

Disconnected from the sacred. From the earth that sustains and holds us. From our ancestors. From the deeper remembering that once shaped how we lived and belonged.

And yet, the sacred was never lost. And it was never some place else to reach for. It has always been here. Hidden in plain sight.

In the body. In the breath. In the waters. In the stars. The soil. And the trees. Patiently waiting for us to remember, land and be received.

This is what I speak about in my latest YouTube video. Watch it here.
