Space Holders Need Rest Too

Hello from my hammock amongst the apple trees!

Hammock

The hammock has become one of my favourite places for two things:

  • Meditating with my sensate (little meditation device that improves nervous system regulation)
  • Preparing for events and ceremonies through extreme rest and dreaming

Rest has always been a growth edge for me. As someone who holds space for others, I’ve learned that my capacity to hold space and others deepens enormously when I take rest seriously.

For the past few months I’ve been distilling everything I’ve learned from fifteen years of facilitating sacred group experiences into the Sacred Circle Methodology™ – the framework I’ll be teaching in Sacred Circle Facilitator Training™ in Glastonbury this September.

As I’ve refined it, I kept returning to one truth…

We can only hold another to the depth that we ourselves have been held.

It reminded me how easy it is, as a space holder, to forget to receive ourselves.

So, if you’re a space holder, I’d love to invite you to Sacred Rest: A Sacred Circle Ceremony for Space Holders.

Sacred Rest - A Sacred Circle Ceremony for Space Holders - Free Online Event

If you’re someone who spends much of your time holding everyone else – personally or professionally – I’d love for you to join me and other space holders. It’s my invitation to put everything down for a little while.

It’s happening on July 30th, and it’s completely free.

Join Sacred Rest.

I’d love to have you there.

Love,
Rebecca xoxo

P.S. I’ll stay on afterwards for an informal Q&A about Sacred Circle Facilitator Training™ if you’d like to learn more or ask any questions.
